Organisation and management

A key principle embedded in the constitution, and within the culture of the choir, is that this is a choir that is run by the membership for the membership through processes and systems outlined in the constitution. The business of the choir is executed and coordinated by a management committee elected by the Annual General Meeting. This committee meets every month. Members’ subscriptions of £15 a month are the main source of income, enabling music to be purchased, uniforms provided, the rehearsal venue and the Director of Music and Accompanist to be paid.
